Guidelines for Topsoil Depth:

1) To topdress your existing lawn area, you should calculate at 1" depth.

2) To fill a vegetable garden 8"-12" depth

3) New home seeded lawn 4"-6" depth

4) New home sodded lawn 3"-5" depth

5) Raised planting 12"-18" depth
