Drip Irrigation...

Drip-irrigation is slightly different. Instead of utilizing sprayers to accommodate flowerbeds and other plantings, this form of irrigation uses emitters, which steadily drip H2O at the drip line of the plant. This is efficient for a number of reasons. For one, overhead sprayers have a tendency to make certain shrubs more susceptable to diseases, because the water winds up collecting on the leaves instead of on the roots. Sprinklers also waste a lot of water when it comes to beds, spraying the plants and everything around them instead of isolating where the water should go.
