A dwarf variety in the spiraea family, “Anthony Waterer” boasts flat-topped heads of rosy-pink flowers that cover the top of this magnificent little shrub, contrasted brilliantly against its bright green foliage. Deciduous, the leaves begin a reddish purple upon growth, and mature by the fall into a luscious, dark green. The addition of manure to the soil will strengthen the beauty of its colorful display. This small plant is ideal in a seasonal planter, or to add a vibrant contrast of color in the foreground of a shrub border!
